Position: Business Development Manager for Bedrooms - National
Reports to: Managing Director
Main Aim: To develop profitable sales by finding and converting new prospect accounts into customers and driving sales and account acquisition in our fitted bedrooms division.
The successful candidate will be developing additional sales opportunities to potential new customers ensuring a continuous and profitable dealer network for fitted bedrooms. In addition, you will support our team of Regional Account Managers in maintaining and growing sales to existing customers
Regular prospecting, customer and showroom visits are a key part of this role and you will be assisting with product training including product launches and ensuring displays reflect the full potential of the products.
You will be designing/specifying detailed plans and assisting in producing creative showroom displays in collaboration with your dealer network. You will be providing customer support with promotional activities and associated literature whilst working closely with the customer services team.
You will be developing and running a regular fitted bedroom training module to train internal colleagues and external customers, working within allocated expenditure budgets ensuring any expense is justified/allocated.
Regular and accurate reporting and administration ensuring regular field feedback is given on new product development and competitor movement and promotions.
You will be an excellent proven negotiator working within parameters of company pricing authorisation. You will have a positive and "can do" attitude with the ability to demonstrate good planning and time management skills.
You must have a full driving licence and be computer literate in a recognised planning and design package.
